In long-term learning process, where it is crucial in keeping abreast with the modern changes and developments in the teaching world an effective method for measuring progress is documenting it; therefore, in order to observe the progress and development of our fourth-grade students through the years in our beloved institution, we organized and assigned the creation of a video capsule explaining grammatical content using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to support knowledge exchange in this project-based task.
The use of ICT platforms such as Powtoon, Canva, Doratoon, Animaker, amongst others, help students of minor courses to have a better understanding of the aforementioned content. Having as a main objective the use of vocabulary helped by graphic elements allowed us a better explanation and understanding of this specific content, which was organized, distributed, and shared by the students themselves in a playful and innovative manner.
Lastly, it is paramount to add that grammatical competence which is the knowledge of the grammatical elements of the language and the ability to use them in speech is taught throughout all the years at every level in our school.
