On May 8th, four students from Colegio Concepción proudly participated in the Spelling Bee Competition held at INACAP, alongside students from more than 15 schools across the region.
Representing our school were Juan Martín Araya Araneda from 3° Medio A, Ignacio Ortiz from 3° Medio B, Esteban Sáez Chávez from 4° Medio A, and Eliseo Arancibia Soto from 4° Medio B, who all demonstrated outstanding commitment, confidence, and excellent spelling skills throughout the competition. Their participation reflected not only their knowledge of the English language, but also their enthusiasm for learning in a challenging and dynamic environment.
Spelling Bee competitions play an important role in English language learning, as English spelling and pronunciation often differ significantly. Activities like these help students strengthen their vocabulary, pronunciation, listening comprehension, and communication skills in an engaging and motivating way.
At Colegio Concepción, we are proud to encourage our students to participate in academic experiences that promote personal growth, confidence, and the development of English language abilities beyond the classroom. Congratulations to our students for their distinguished participation and excellent representation of our school community.
