On Monday, November 25th, students from 2nd Grades A, B, and C, as well as 1st Grade B (elementary level), embarked on a thrilling treasure hunt organised by the English Immersion. The activity took students on an exciting journey around the school, where they had to follow a series of clues to discover the hidden treasure!
The treasure hunt was not only a fun-filled adventure but also a fantastic opportunity to enhance English language skills. Students practiced essential school vocabulary, learned to follow instructions in English, and engaged in playful guessing games. Each clue required them to pay attention to commands, solve riddles, and navigate to specific school landmarks, reinforcing their understanding of English in a real-world context.
The hunt led students through iconic locations around the school, including the Gymnasium, Guard House, Infirmary, Covered Patio, Early childhood education building’s Backyard, School Canteen, General Inspectorate, and the Synthetic Turf Pitch. At each stop, students had to complete fun challenges like counting, giving high-fives, or guessing animal’s sounds to earn the next clue.
After successfully following all the clues and overcoming each challenge, the students found the long-awaited treasure—a bag filled with delicious chocolate coins!
This treasure hunt was a wonderful way to combine fun, teamwork, and English learning. We are proud of our young explorers for their enthusiasm and curiosity, and we invite everyone to check out the highlights of this adventurous day!
