Colegio Concepción Honours Young Writers in International and Regional Competitions

In a meaningful assembly held at the school, Colegio Concepción recognised the students who stood out for their creativity, dedication, and genuine love for writing. This acknowledgment celebrated their participation in two important literary events: the international “Young Writers Awards” from Bennington College and the regional contest “Mi Región, Mi Historia, Mi Futuro,” organised by the Regional Government of Biobío as part of the Cumbre de las Regiones 2025.
The Young Writers Awards is one of the most prestigious writing competitions for high school students worldwide, inviting thousands of young authors each year to submit original pieces in poetry, fiction, or nonfiction. Meanwhile, “Mi Región, Mi Historia, Mi Futuro” called on children and young people from the Biobío Region to reflect on their identity, their territory, and their vision for the region’s future.
Within this context, our students embraced the challenge of drafting, revising, and submitting their work to contests with high literary standards. Their texts reveal sensitivity, imagination, and an insightful connection with both their local surroundings and global perspectives.
During the school’s recognition ceremony, the following students were celebrated:

Colegio Concepción extends heartfelt congratulations to the students and sincere appreciation to the families and teachers who supported them throughout this process. Celebrations like this one reinforce our commitment to creating meaningful experiences where literature, imagination, and authentic communication continue to enrich our educational community.
