Students from 4th grade B took part in the final session of the English and Mathematics bingo series, bringing this playful learning experience to a close after being developed with the three 4th grade classes. Although the format of the activity was the same, each course gave the experience its own rhythm, enthusiasm, and way of participating.
This session was developed through the articulation between the English Immersion Plan, led by Mr. Marcos Riveros, and the Mathematics subject, guided by Ms. María Fernanda Ruiz. Through this collaboration, students had the opportunity to connect number recognition, active listening, concentration, and participation while using English in a practical and enjoyable classroom context.
During the activity, students listened carefully to numbers in English, checked their bingo cards, followed the pace of the game, and participated with excitement as the challenge progressed. The classroom became a space where English appeared naturally through play, allowing students to respond, interact, and stay focused while enjoying the experience with their classmates.
One of the most meaningful aspects of this final session was the way it completed a sequence of learning moments across 4th grade. From the first group to the last, the bingo activity showed how a simple game can become a valuable opportunity to use English with confidence, reinforce mathematical thinking, and create a positive atmosphere for learning.
The experience also encouraged important classroom values such as respect, patience, fair play, and participation. Students were able to enjoy the challenge, celebrate each other’s progress, and understand that learning can also happen through shared moments of excitement, attention, and collaboration.
With 4th grade B, the English and Mathematics bingo series came to an end, leaving a positive example of how English can be integrated into other subjects in simple, meaningful, and memorable ways. Each class contributed something different to the activity, showing that the same experience can become unique when students bring their own energy and classroom spirit.
Through activities like this, the English Immersion Plan continues to promote learning experiences where English becomes part of everyday school life, connecting language with Mathematics, play, participation, and the joy of learning together.
