The English and Mathematics bingo experience continued with students from 4th grade C, who joined this playful activity with enthusiasm, attention, and a strong sense of classroom participation. After the first session with 4th grade A, this new group brought its own energy to the activity, showing once again how a familiar game can become a meaningful opportunity to use English in a different learning context.
This session was developed through the articulation between the English Immersion Plan, led by Mr. Marcos Riveros, and the Mathematics subject, guided by Ms. María Fernanda Ruiz. Through this collaboration, students were able to reinforce number recognition and active listening while using English as part of a concrete and enjoyable classroom experience.
During the activity, students listened to numbers in English, followed the rhythm of the game, checked their cards carefully, and reacted with excitement as they moved closer to completing their bingo. The classroom atmosphere was marked by concentration, laughter, and friendly competition, allowing students to participate actively while practising the language in a natural way.
One of the most valuable aspects of this second session was the way students connected attention and enjoyment. Each number required them to listen carefully, think quickly, and respond with confidence. In this way, the activity supported both mathematical thinking and English comprehension, while also encouraging students to remain focused and engaged.
The bingo also promoted important classroom values such as respect, patience, fair play, and collaboration. Students celebrated each other’s progress, followed the rules of the game, and enjoyed being part of a shared learning moment where participation was just as important as winning.
With this experience, 4th grade C continued a bingo series that highlights how English can be integrated into different subjects through simple, meaningful, and joyful activities. Although the structure of the game remains the same, each course gives the activity a different rhythm, making every session unique.
Through activities like this, the English Immersion Plan continues to create opportunities for students to experience English as part of everyday school life, connecting language, Mathematics, play, and participation in a way that feels close and memorable.
