3rd Grade A Joins the English and Mathematics Bingo Series

Students from 3rd grade A took part in a new English and Mathematics bingo activity, a playful learning experience designed to connect number recognition, active listening, participation, and enjoyment in the classroom.
The activity was carried out through the collaboration between the English Immersion Plan, led by Mr. Marcos Riveros, and the Elementary Mathematics subject, guided by Ms. María Fernanda Ruiz. This articulation allowed students to use English in a practical and natural way, while also reinforcing mathematical thinking through a familiar and entertaining game.
During the session, students listened carefully to numbers in English, followed the rhythm of the activity, and participated with great enthusiasm. Little by little, the game became more than a traditional bingo activity, as students had to stay focused, recognise the numbers, react on time, and enjoy the challenge with their classmates.
One of the most valuable aspects of this experience was the positive atmosphere created in the classroom. Students were able to learn through play, practise listening skills, and strengthen their confidence while taking part in a shared activity. At the same time, the game encouraged important classroom values such as respect, patience, fair play, and the ability to enjoy both winning and participating.
As part of a series developed across different Junior Area classes, this bingo experience continues to show that English can be connected with other subjects in simple, meaningful, and engaging ways. In this case, Mathematics became a space where students could listen, think, interact, and use English with a clear purpose.
Through activities like this, the English Immersion Plan continues to promote learning experiences where language becomes part of everyday classroom moments, helping students approach English with confidence, curiosity, and joy.
