Autumn Talent Concert: Music, Art, and Student Talent Come Together at Colegio Concepción

On May 27th, the auditorium of Colegio Concepción became a space for music, emotion, and artistic expression during the Autumn Talent Concert 2026, the second edition of the Seasonal Talent Concert Series. This initiative brought together students from different levels to share their musical talent with the school community in an evening dedicated to culture, creativity, and the arts.
The concert was organised by Ms. Verónica Cofré, Head of the Arts Department, in collaboration with the English Immersion Program, led by Mr. Marcos Riveros, continuing a project that seeks to strengthen artistic and cultural experiences within our educational community. The initiative invited students studying musical instruments and classical works to take part in this autumn concert.
Throughout the evening, students from Kinder to Senior Area presented a carefully prepared musical programme, showing not only their talent, but also the discipline, perseverance, and dedication behind each performance. The concert included piano, violin, and vocal presentations, creating a varied and meaningful artistic experience for families, teachers, authorities, and guests.
The programme featured performances by Rafela Muñoz Valenzuela from Kinder “B”, Emilia Concha Gutiérrez from 9th Grade “A”, María Victoria Carrasco Arredondo from 10th Grade “B”, Florencia Aravena Gómez from 10th Grade “B”, Maryang Olguín del Castillo from 7th Grade “B”, Alba Rohring Ruiz from 11th Grade “C”, Kim Mütersfrom 10th Grade “A”, Mariana Encina Amigo from 5th Grade “A”, and Tomás Fuentealba from 9th Grade “A”.
During the concert, the audience enjoyed a selection of works that included pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Friedrich Burgmüller, Muzio Clementi, Giacomo Puccini, and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, along with other musical presentations prepared by the students. These performances reflected the diversity of talents present in our school and the importance of providing real spaces where students can share their artistic development with the community.
One of the distinctive elements of this concert was the use of English throughout the event, especially in the presentation of the programme and the interaction with the audience. In this way, the English Immersion Program contributed to creating an authentic context where language, music, and culture came together naturally, allowing English to be experienced beyond the classroom and in connection with a meaningful artistic event.
This second edition of the Seasonal Talent Concert Series reflects the growing artistic spirit of Colegio Concepción and the importance of creating spaces where students can feel recognised by their community. Through music, English, and shared emotion, the Autumn Talent Concert became a memorable evening that celebrated talent, culture, and the joy of learning through the arts.
