Colegio Concepción Art Exhibition Showcases Student Creativity

Colegio Concepción held a vibrant and inspiring art exhibition where students from 3rd to 6th grade elementary proudly presented a selection of works created throughout the school year. Guided by their art teachers, Ms. Johanna Pantoja Pereira and Ms. Claudia Cuevas Jara, the students explored a wide range of visual techniques and artistic processes that highlighted both creativity and dedication.
The exhibition featured a diverse collection of pieces. Each technique demonstrated the students’ ability to experiment with materials, express ideas visually, and connect artistic learning with personal interpretation. Seeing their own artwork displayed was an exciting and meaningful moment for the children, who observed not only the beauty of their creations but also the progress they made throughout the year.
As part of the school’s ongoing commitment to creating real experiences with English, the exhibition incorporated bilingual elements. The names of the techniques and sections were presented in English, and the English Immersion Program collaborated in the organization of the event. Some groups received guided visits in English, supported by Mr. Marcos Riveros, allowing students to experience art as a space for authentic communication and exploration.
The exhibition also included the screening of two interdisciplinary projects developed earlier in the year with the collaboration of the English Immersion Program:
● “Painting Peace,” a school-wide initiative in which students created Peace Flags as part of an international artistic collaboration.
● The NASA Space Place Art Challenge, where 6th grade students designed space-themed artworks during their Arts class.
This art exhibition celebrated imagination, expression, and the power of art to bring our community together. We invite you to revisit the highlights of this inspiring event and continue celebrating the creativity of our students.
