We are thrilled to announce that our school will be participating in the prestigious 2024 International Essay Contest for Young People! Organised by the esteemed Goi Peace Foundation, in collaboration with The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, and other distinguished organisations, this global event provides an incredible platform for youth to voice their perspectives on a crucial theme.
Theme: «My Experience of Overcoming Conflict»
Conflicts are a part of life, arising from differences in opinions and values. Have you ever navigated through a conflict? What did you learn from that experience, and how do you plan to apply those lessons in your life and for the betterment of society?
The prestigious Goi Peace Foundation, under the auspices of The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, along with esteemed organisations such as the Japanese National Commission for UNESCO, Japan Private High School Federation, Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education, Japan Broadcasting Corporation, Nikkei Inc., SEIKO GROUP CORPORATION, and PLUS CORPORATION, invite you to share your insights.
Guidelines:
– Open to individuals up to 25 years old.
– Essays must be 700 words or less in English or French, or 1600 characters or less in Japanese.
– Entries must be submitted online by June 15, 2024.
– Original, unpublished essays only.
– No co-authored or plagiarised essays.
Deadline: June 15, 2024 (23:59 your local time)
