3rd Grade B Closes the English and Mathematics Bingo Series

Students from 3rd grade B participated in the final session of the English and Mathematics bingo series developed with 3rd grade Junior Area, bringing this playful and meaningful learning experience to a close.
The activity was carried out through the collaboration between the English Immersion Plan, led by Mr. Marcos Riveros, and the Elementary Mathematics area, guided by Ms. María Fernanda Ruiz. Through this articulation, students were able to use English in a familiar classroom situation while reinforcing number recognition, attention, and mathematical thinking.
During the session, students listened carefully to numbers in English, followed the rhythm of the game, and participated with enthusiasm. The activity invited them to stay focused, react on time, and enjoy learning through a simple but engaging challenge shared with their classmates.
One of the most exciting moments of the class happened when more than one student reached bingo at the same time. This tie situation created a joyful moment of expectation and allowed the activity to connect naturally with Mathematics through a short challenge to define the final result. In this way, the game also became an opportunity to practise fair play, patience, and respect for the process.
As the final class of the series, this experience also allowed us to reflect on the value of bringing English into everyday learning moments. Across the different 3rd grade classes, students were able to approach the language through play, listening, participation, and interaction, showing that English can be used naturally and meaningfully in connection with other subjects.
The bingo series became a positive space for students to learn, share, and build confidence. Beyond the game itself, it encouraged important classroom values such as respect, concentration, healthy competition, and the ability to enjoy both winning and participating.
Through activities like this, the English Immersion Plan continues to promote learning experiences where English becomes part of real classroom interaction. In this case, Mathematics offered a clear and joyful context for students to listen, think, respond, and learn with curiosity and confidence.
