Fun with English: Board Games at the Library!

As part of our English Week 2025 celebrations, our school library turned into a lively and welcoming space where games and language came together. Throughout the week, from Monday to Thursday, during the 9:30 a.m. recess, students from 3rd to 6th grade elementary level were invited to take part in exciting board game sessions, all in English!
These activities gave students the chance to voluntarily join in, practise their English in a natural and relaxed setting, and most importantly, enjoy themselves. From strategy games to fast-paced challenges, the atmosphere was full of laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition.
What made this event so special was the way students mixed play with learning. Every turn, question, and move became an opportunity to use English meaningfully, proving once again that learning can be both fun and rewarding.
The board game sessions at the library perfectly captured the spirit of English Week: a celebration of language, culture, and creativity in action.
