A Brave Knight Visits the Parvulario: Storytelling for World Book Day

Another way of marking the beginning of our week-long celebration of World Book Day, the youngest members of our school community—Medio Mayor, Pre-Kinder, and Kinder students—enjoyed a very special storytelling session held at the Early Childhood Education building, fondly known as the Parvulario.
The English Immersion Plan organised this joyful event as part of our ongoing monthly storytelling series, this time inspired by the timeless classic Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes. On Monday 21st April, our little learners embarked on an imaginative journey with Don Quixote: A Brave Knight, an adapted version of the novel designed especially for young children.
The story was brought to life through the voices of Mia Kreca, Antonia González, Mila Kassen, and Mr. Marcos, each of whom took part in the narration, making the session lively, engaging, and truly memorable.
Through storytelling, our early learners not only celebrated literature in a fun and accessible way, but also connected with one of the greatest figures in classical literature—sparking imagination, laughter, and curiosity.
This magical session was just one of the many activities organised by the English Immersion Plan to highlight the joy of reading and the power of stories across all levels of our school.
