Cooking Adventures: A Delicious and Fun Workshop for Our Young Learners

As part of our ongoing extracurricular workshops, the Cooking Adventures workshop continues to delight and engage our youngest students. Tailored for Pre-Kinder and Kinder students, this exciting workshop takes place every Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Early Childhood Education building, affectionately known as Parvulario.
Conducted in English, this workshop is designed to introduce our youngest learners to the world of cooking, while also strengthening their language skills. Last week’s session was filled with creativity as students decorated bananas with chocolate chips and edible gold dust! The activity not only allowed the little chefs to express their artistic side but also taught them valuable kitchen skills. Following the essential habits of cleanliness, the children washed their hands, cleaned their space, and made sure to wash their bananas before starting their culinary creations.
Cooking Adventures is not only for our youngest learners—there are also workshops for 1st and 2nd-grade students, as well as for 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students. Each session encourages the children to learn through fun, hands-on activities while practicing English and developing essential life skills.
The session was a fun-filled way to combine learning about cooking with important life skills, all while exploring new flavours and techniques. Cooking Adventures is all about fostering creativity and responsibility in the kitchen, and it’s wonderful to see how much our young learners enjoy the process.
Stay tuned for more tasty and educational sessions in our Cooking Adventures workshop!
