Showcasing Speaking Skills: Public Speaking at the Library

On Wednesday, August 28th, the library hosted an inspiring Public Speaking Cycle as part of our ongoing English Week. This event provided a platform for our talented students to showcase their impressive English skills and delve into thought-provoking topics.

The session began with a beautiful violin performance by María Victoria Carrasco, setting a reflective tone for the talks that followed. Our speakers, Tomás Farfán, Antonia González, Mariana González, and Sam Rojas, captivated the audience with their presentations on a wide array of subjects. From the world view of Adolf Hitler to the impact of the atomic bomb, the mysteries of dreams, and the social perception of ourselves, each student brought a unique perspective and depth to their topic.

The event was filled with engaging discussions and insightful questions from the audience, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved. We are incredibly proud of our students for their dedication and eloquence.

Stay tuned for more highlights from English Week and don’t miss the exciting activities yet to come!
