We’re thrilled to announce Mia Kreca’s return visit on July 17th, continuing her inspiring cultural discussions with our 5th Grade A students. Much like her previous visit, this session was filled with insightful conversations and engaging activities.
Mia Kreca, hailing from Bosnia and Herzegovina, brought a fresh perspective to the classroom, enriching the students’ understanding of diverse cultures. Organised by the English Immersion program under Mr. Marcos Riveros, this visit was a collaborative effort involving Camila Moisan, their English teacher, and Corina Valdes, their Social Studies teacher, further enhancing the students’ educational experience with diverse perspectives.
The session commenced with Mia introducing a new cultural topic, sparking lively discussions among the students. Mia captivated the class with deep insights into Bosnian culture, covering language nuances, regional diversity, culinary delights, and traditional customs. Students eagerly engaged in conversations about daily life in Bosnia and Herzegovina, broadening their global cultural understanding and enhancing their English language skills through meaningful interactions.
