On May 30th, 2024, the Colegio Concepción San Pedro hosted the spectacular 9th English Song Festival as part of the celebrations for COEMCO’s 70th anniversary. The event brought together talented students from various schools across the city, including Colegio Concepción San Pedro, Colegio Alemán de Concepción, Colegio La Providencia, Colegio Técnico Profesional Los Acacios, Colegio Einstein Coronel, and Colegio Arauco.
Our school was proudly represented by Matilde Melo Soto from 9th grade C. Her captivating performance earned her the «Most Popular Song» award, a testament to her talent and the enthusiasm she brought to the stage. Matilde’s performance stood out in a festival filled with outstanding musical acts, showcasing the diverse musical talents of students from different schools.
The festival was a wonderful opportunity for students to practise their English through music, celebrate their achievements, and connect with peers from other institutions. The lively atmosphere and the enthusiastic support from the audience made the event a memorable experience for everyone involved.
