On July 5th, The SPELLING BEE Contest for 5th and 6th graders, Primary level, as well as for 7th and 8th graders, for Secondary one, took place at school. It is important to mention too 3rd and 4th graders had the chance to participate last May.
The goal of this activity is to encourage students to practice English Language through a wide variety of activities as well as, to study and to make the best effort to help their team to win the contest by spelling the words spelt by judges.
Students showed great enthusiasm and skills to perform and enjoy the beauty of the English language by spelling words correctly and showing their vocabulary knowledge.
After a tough competition and several draws, the teams were motivated and participated not as opponents and just as classmates from their level, showing respect, responsibility and tolerance among them.
