On October , 7 our high school student from 4th year A Carlos Labra Godoy participated as a contestant in The 7th Southern Public Speaking Competition held at the Windsor School in the city of Valdivia. Carlos´s speech was about resilience in human nature under the theme “Success is not final, failure isn´t fatal”. Due to his outstanding performance he was shortlisted for the impromptu speech reaching the semi-final. The English Department acknowledges Carlos´s commitment on pursuing this task successfully.
