On August 31th, The SPELLING BEE for 1st and 2nd graders, secondary level, took place at the school.
The students showed great enthusiasm and skills to perform and enjoy the beauty of the English language by spelling words correctly and showing their vocabulary knowledge.
The main objective of this activity is to encourage students to study and also to make the best effort to help their team to win the contest by spelling the words that the judges ask to spell.
After a tough competition and several draws, the teams qualified to the final round. Finally, the resulting places were: 3rd place: Felipe Montero, Felipe Villalobos, Vicente Germany and Sofka Vildósola from 1st grade B, 2nd place: Mabel González, Fabiola Quezada and Pablo Miranda from 2nd grade A, and the winner team that got the 1st place: Nicolás Canales, Cristóbal Medina, José Tomas Norambuena and Daniel lillo from 2nd grade C.
