Cristopher Cano and Diego Barrera, teachers of the English Department, attended to the “English as a Second Language” seminar organized by Universidad Andrés Bello in Santiago.
The seminar was a remarkable and outstanding opportunity to understand the complexity and beauty of teaching the language of the world.
In this event, national and foreign teachers enrolled in order to have the possibility of updating their knowledge and skills, so that they can contribute in a better teaching and learning process.
During the seminar, 3 exhibitors from United States, Argentina and Chile discussed upon the new challenges for the teachers of english, how to improve learning through assessment and the 21st century skills in the ESL (English as a Second Language) classroom.
