On November the 22nd, 2013, students from seventh grade up to third grade in secondary levelparticipated on our first English Song Festival. They had the challenging opportunity to show their English competence together with their musical skills in a delightful evening. The teachers from the English Department truly believe that this kind of event strongly increases students´ motivation and interest towards the English language.
In this competition, ten students enrolled, and the jury had the crucial, huge and extremely difficult responsibility of delivering and choosing the winners. Thus, the podium was led in the first place by Javiera Seguel from 7th A, in the second place Lukas Coloma from 2°nd grade B and in the third place Camila Ortiz from 3rd grade C.
We are looking forward to the next English Song Festival in 2014.
