The Fourth Southern Public Speaking Competition in English took place at the «Windsor School», Valdivia, on October 18th, 2013.
Two students from our school participated in this competition: Maximiliano Wagemann (4thA) and Felipe Jara (4th B). The teacher in charge of this project at school was Miss. Patricia Celedón, who traveled with them to Valdivia.
The topic for the competition this year was «A HOUSE DIVIDED AGAINST ITSELF CANNOT STAND». The titles of our students’ speeches were: «What you reap is what you sow» by Felipe Jara and «Personality: The Home of Contradiction» by Maximiliano Wagemann. There were 18 schools participating and both students from our school had a wonderful performance showing their English proficiency.
